New York State has lifted many of it's COVID restrictions, yet the practice of medical manual therapy still requires masks.
The safety and comfort of *ALL* who enter this practice continues to be my #1 priority. As was my practice prior to the pandemic, anitization and continually running HEPA air filters will remain part of my safety protocol.
Here are the current policies at Revivify Massage Therapy to expect:
- Due to the proliferation of the COVID variants, as well as seasonal flus and common colds, every breathing body who wishes to receive manual therapy is required to wear a face mask, except while lying prone (face-down) where mask-equivalent containment within the face cradle is applied. This is for prevention of my exposure as your therapist, where I often spend 90 minutes in very close proximity while providing your healing touch— if I am infected, not only is my income interrupted, but all those missed appointments interrupt and delay the the progression of those patients' care.
- The reception area and waiting bench remain unavailable until your appointment time. I will text you of any delays greater than 10 minutes so that you may adjust your arrival time.
- As before, if you have any COVID- or any illness- symptoms, or have been in contact with anyone who may have been exposed or is sick, please postpone your appointment for 5 days, or until you test negative.
- I am again reducing the time blocked out between appointments to the traditional 30 minutes that I have always added to your appointment, which means I may not have as much time to socialize before/after your appointment with you. Please understand and respect this!
- Always try to give me 24 hours notice before canceling an appointment for any reason.
